Ribérac Market - 1

Friday, 10th August 2001

The market town of Ribérac (population 5000) is in the valley of the river Dronne in the Dordogne region. My friends and I had heard good reports about Ribérac's Friday morning market, and as it was only 50 km from our base at Cercoux, we agreed that a visit was essential. The weather was ideal: hot and sunny, but with a cooling breeze.
