Constitution Hill

University buildings
Above: The University College buildings on the promenade were originally designed for
use as a hotel, but were later extended in a mix of architectural styles. In the distance
on the right are outlined the remains of Aberystwyth Castle.

Victorian hotels
Above: Victorian hotels overlook the north end of the promenade, at the foot of Constitution Hill.

Promenade (south)
Above: Evening sunlight illuminates the southern end of Aberystwyth promenade.
The university buildings and the war memorial dominate the skyline.
