Wild Flowers in the Countryside of Southwest and Mid Wales
Photography by John Ball (with a Fuji FinePix S602 Zoom digital camera, except where indicated) and Venita Roylance (with a Kodak DX4900 digital camera)
These three Images of Wales webpages feature a selection of photographs of flowers found growing wild in the hedgerows, woods, and fields in the Welsh countryside. Some of the examples are cultivated varieties that have escaped into the wild. I have tried to identify the flowers where possible, but I am not an expert on wild flowers. If you think I have wrongly identified any of the specimens, please let me (John Ball) know by e-mail via my Contact Page and I will rectify the error(s). The photographs are displayed in chronological order through the seasons. The date and approximate location is given in each case.
