A Further Visit to Abergavenny Monmouthshire

Today's selection features some of the interesting shops and buildings in the centre of Abergavenny.
Above: The 18th century Angel Hotel in Cross Street.

Above left: The premises of J. A. Francis & Son, who offer Boot and Shoe Repairs and Saddlery.
Above right: A rather sad looking old chair on display outside an antiques shop in High Street. The notice reads, Wanted - Antiques and Interesting Old Furniture.
Above: A baker's shop (left) and green grocer's (right) in Frogmore Street.
Above: A florist's shop in Frogmore Street. The window display features flowers and gifts for St Valentine's Day.
Above: Ty Bwyd Da café serving early lunchtime meals. Its name translates as 'the good food house'.

Above left: The Grasshopper public house in Baker Street. The tower of Holy Trinity Church overlooks the scene.
Above right: The offices of The Abergavenny Chronicle, a local newspaper.
