Scenes taken on a sunny spring day in the centre of the old town of Merthyr Tydfil, once one of the most important industrial centres in Britain.
Left: The old Town Hall building. Erected in 1896, it is now  a night club.
Above: Chaplin's Café Bar in High Street.

Above: High Street Baptist Chapel, built in 1841.
