Old Welsh School
Felindre, near Cwmdu, Breconshire
Photography by John Ball - 1:45 pm, 23 June 1998 (with Agfa ePhoto-307 digital camera)
The building below, now used as a garage, was once the local school for the rural village
of Cwmdu in the valley of Afon Rhian-goll in south Breconshire. The school was
founded by the Reverend Thomas Price whose bardic name was Carnhuanawc.
Above: The front of the building is down a narrow lane, leading to a stone bridge
over the river.
Above: The rear of the building is now mostly hidden by an overgrowth of
dense vegetation.
