Scenes taken on a rainy winter's day in the picturesque old town of Llandeilo,
overlooking the valley of the River Tywi (Towy).
Above: The Fountain Fine Art gallery.
Above: Next door to the gallery is this mysterious entrance (left) to the former Public Hall & Literary Institute Reading Room and Library. Meanwhile, another alleyway off the main street leads to some old cottages.
Above: The imposing Cawdor Arms Hotel.
Above left: A quiet courtyard, near the Cawdor Arms Hotel.
Above right: The classical columns at the entrance to the Dyfed Archeological Society
Above left: An old pump organ in a shop window, waiting for a new owner....
Above right: The parish church of St Teilo, in the centre of the town.
Above: View from the graveyard around St Teilo's.
Above: Church Street, Llandeilo. These attractively decorated old houses stand out even
on such a dull and misty afternoon.
Above: The valley of the River Tywi (Towy) from Llandeilo. After several days of rain, the
river has overflowed its banks. In the distance across the river is the village of Ffair-fach.
