An Old Shipwreck near Lawrenny Quay
Pembrokeshire
Photography by John Ball - 11.30am 31 March 1998) (with Agfa ePhoto307 digital camera)
The ebbing tide reveals the mysterious remains of an old ship on the banks of a
quiet inlet near Lawrenny Quay.
Above: First glimpse of the wreck. In the distance, across the Daugleddau is
Williamston Mountain, a few miles east of Neyland.
Above: The shape of the rotting hulk can now be identified.
Above: The old timbers are green with seaweed and the hull is half-filled with sand.
Above: The sad remains create a dramatic outline against the distant shoreline.

Above: Who knows what adventures this ancient vessel has seen.
